The purpose of this project was to identify the basic principle of an elevator using stepper motor. This is used to take someone up or down by taking an input from butons.
Purpose
Introduction
This robot is created in fulfillment of the project requirement of the circuit course at the Information Technology University The idea of an elevator came when was considering to do somthing similar to that elevator which is used in buildings and towers. Then this robot was build for the circuit project, It works on the basic principle of elevator which moves from level to level by taking input from push buttons.

In Hardware of the project we used wood . As wood was simple to cut for the required desire. Also the joining with nails was easy but the balance and measurement of the floors was some difficult. Ready made pillers of 6 inches each was used between two floors. Two Pulleys was used for the string. The string was attatched to the basket with the stepper motor. ULN2003 was used as a driver module of Stepper Motor. Arduino Uno was used as a microprocessor in which the software program was uploaded. Push buttons, Resistors, Jumper cables were also in the circuitery.

The Software in this project was Aurdino Uno.
The Programming is almost similar to that of C++. But The Code Logic was some difficult,
mentioned some conditions in code to go for secend or third floor in how many steps of stepper motor. by clicking on "Software" you can find the code that we used in this project.

Working
This elevator works on the simple principle of up and down. It helps to carry some one at a desired level. In this structure three levels are used 1st floor , 2nd floor and 3rd floor. WhWhen some one on the 1st floor wants to go upward to the 2nd floor then simply push the button 2 and in a few seconds he will bbe on the next floor. and if he further wants to go to the 3rd floor then push the button no 3 and in the same way the down ward function works.
